Registration is now open for AFCEA Space Coast’s October event, “Preparing for the Next Mission: Wargaming, Modeling & Simulation, and the Space Force’s Operational Readiness,” taking place Thursday, October 29, at The Tides Collocated Club.
AFCEA Space Coast will welcome Col. Leah C. Shubin, Commander of U.S. Space Force Space Delta 10, as the opening speaker and moderator of the evening’s fireside chat and panel discussion. She will be joined by Dr. Keith Brawner, Technical Director of the Delta 10 Wargaming and Doctrine Center; Lt Col Thomas Newman, Chief of Staff, Space Delta 10; and Louis “Cornell” Fuka, Wargaming Director, 10th Delta Operations Squadron, for an evening focused on how the Space Force is using wargaming, modeling and simulation to advance operational readiness.
The discussion will explore the connections between wargaming and modeling and simulation and the broader Space Force mission, including training, experimentation, doctrine, operational readiness, and the integration of emerging capabilities.
Col. Shubin will open the evening with remarks on the Space Delta 10 mission, then lead a fireside chat and panel discussion with Dr. Brawner, Lt Col Newman, and Mr. Fuka on wargaming, modeling and simulation, and Space Force operational readiness, followed by audience Q&A and networking, providing attendees an opportunity to hear directly from Delta 10 leadership and engage with the team.
