We are proud to recognize Amelia Keefe as the AFCEA Space Coast Chapter Member of the Month for May.
Each month, our chapter highlights a member who steps up, contributes, and helps move the mission forward. Amelia has done exactly that. She is always willing to jump in, support events, help behind the scenes, and contribute wherever needed.
Amelia is a rising junior at the University of Central Florida with a passion for Geographic Information Systems, geospatial intelligence, and national defense. She recently represented our chapter at SpaceCom 2026, where she connected with military, government, and industry professionals while learning more about the many ways technology supports the national defense mission.
As one of our Emerging Leaders, Amelia is also working toward establishing an AFCEA student chapter at UCF, helping build a stronger bridge between students, industry, government, academia, and the defense community. As part of the broader AFCEA International community, we are proud to recognize Emerging Leaders like Amelia who are already contributing to the mission and helping grow the next generation of leaders.
After graduation, Amelia plans to pursue a master’s degree in GIS at Florida State University. We are grateful for her initiative, energy, and continued commitment to AFCEA’s mission.
